Professor Edmund Edward Fournier d'Albe

Edmund Edward Fournier d'Albe (1868–1933), and is a physicist known for his interest in theoretical physics and his later work on the optophone. The theory he advanced posited that what we perceive as atoms might actually be solar systems in their own right, containing their own "infra worlds" (smaller universes) and "supra worlds" (larger, encompassing universes). This concept, sometimes referred to as the "fractal cosmology" or "recursive universe" hypothesis, was a popular subject of speculative science in the early 20th century.
